Registration begins at 9:00 a.m. and ends at

11:30 a.m. SHARP

 

PLEASE NOTE: A waiver MUST be signed by the participant himself. Registering for someone else is prohibited!

Competition will begin at 12:00 p.m. (or shortly after the finish of the Women’s Skillet Toss)

The 2025 winners by class were as follows:
Class 1      Adonis Williams, Canaan, NH     27’3”

Class 2      Ben Martin, E. Wakefield, NH      27’8”

Class 3  Chris Jackson, N. Sandwich, NH   27’9”  

Class 4   John Zelsnack, Manassas, VA       25’8”

Class 5    Don Robbins, N. Sandwich, NH    28’3”

Class 6   Jim Schipmann, Sandwich, NH          14’

In its 10th year, even with the threat of a          nor’easter, the Keg Toss saw 41 participants!                                                                      

 We are looking forward to a strong showing this year!

Rules & Classes

Age Classes:

1 Ages 18 to 30

2 Ages 31 to 40

3 Ages 41 to 50

4 Ages 51 to 60

5 Ages 61 to 70

6 Ages 71 and over

 

Rules:

1. Open to all men 18 years of age and over.

2. Keg used will be provided by the fair, made of stainless steel and weighing approx 22 lbs.

3. Toss will be straight down the line. Distance off the center line will be subtracted from the distance thrown.

4. No practice throws will be allowed.

5. One (1) toss per contestant.

6. Touching the foul line will result in disqualification.

7. Grand Championship Round will allow two tosses per contestant with the final measurement being the better of the two.

8. Registration closes promptly at 11:30 a.m., without exception. The Chairman reserves the right to limit the number of entrants.

9. No full circle “wind up” before tossing the keg. Acceptable throws can be demonstrated at the beginning of the competition.

A Grand Championship Award will be presented to the winner of the final round.
Finalists will be the first place winners from classes 1 thru 6.
