4-H SHEEP SHOW
Show Time - 9: 00 AM, Monday, October 10, 2011

Purebred or grades may be shown. Entries are to be fitted and shown by 4-H member. In the case of not enough entries in a single breed, animals will be placed in the All Other Breeds division and will be judged according to individual breed characteristics. Rules and regulations of the 4-H Livestock department will be followed. SHEEP MUST HAVE BEEN OWNED OR LEASED BY 4-H EXHIBITOR PRIOR TO JUNE 15. Entries shall arrive Monday before 7:00 AM and remain until 5:00 PM Monday. Each animal entered as registered breed MUST have been checked in at paper check prior to 8:00 AM Monday morning, which includes presentation of original health papers and original registration papers that indicate owner and permanent identification of animal.
Registration deadline: entries must be postmarked by September 15th of the current year.
Premiums: Div. 40-42 Fitting & Showing: Grade A, $15.00; Grade B, $10.00; Grade C, $5.00.
Premiums: Div. 45-48: Grade A: $12.00; Grade B: $8.00; Grade C: $6.00

Div. 41 Junior Fitting & Showing
Div. 42 Novice Fitting & Showing
Div. 43 Ram Lamb born after January 1, 2011.
Div. 44 Junior Champion Ram
Div. 45 Senior Champion Ram
Div. 46 Yearling Ewe born after January 1, 2010
Div. 47 Ewe Lamb born after January 1, 2011
Div. 48 Junior Champion Ewe
Div. 49 Seinor Champion Ewe
Div. 50A Pair of Lambs - one ram and one ewe bred and owned by exhibitor (shown in individual classes previously)
Div. 50B Flock - one ram and 1 ewe lamb and 1 yearling ewe owned by the exhibitor.
(These animals must have been shown in individual classes previously)
Div. 51 Market Lamb (must be slick shorn)
Div. 52 Best Fleece (Sponsored by NHSWGA banner only - no premiums)
Div. 43 - 47 Will be shown by breeds. Show order will be determined by Superintendent base on entries.
