Show Rules
- There will be no pre-show milk out.
- Base date for determining age of animals is day of the show, October 11th, 2008.
- For the protection of all entries, all animals must be inspected before unloading. Veterinary slips must be given to the show secretary at the time of check in. No animals will be allowed to check in without a slip
- Any animals showing signs of infectious or contagious disease will not be allowed to unload, or show any animals from that vehicle. All entry fees will be forfeited and all will be asked to leave the Fairgrounds.
- It is recommended that all animals have a Rabies Inoculation. Proof of this shall be in the form of a certificate from a veterinarian or a receipt for vaccine used, if you give your own shots.
- All entries must be postmarked on or before September 30th. Entry fee is $3.00 per animal, and must accompany your entries. All entry fees are non-refundable. No substitutions-only in same class. Day of show entries are $5.00. Send entries to Sandwich Fair Association, Inc. P.O. Box 161, Center Sandwich, New Hampshire 03227. Make checks payable to Sandwich Fair Association, Inc.
- Exhibitor must own animals 30 days prior to the show. Original registration certificate is required on all animals six months of age or older. This original registration or stamped duplicate copy, stamped by ADGA, is required for all animals under six months of age. All papers must be checked by the Show Secretary before the start of the show.
- All animals must be on the grounds by 8:00 am and checked in with Show Secretary by 8:30 am. Exhibitors will not be allowed to drive their vehicles through the main gate after 8:00 am. Anyone arriving after this time will be asked to unload their animals at the main gate and walk them to the Dairy Goat barn. No vehicles will be allowed to enter through the main gate until 6:00 pm. If you want to leave prior to 6:00 pm you must walk your animals to the main gate. If needed there will be help available to walk your animals.
- The Junior Show and Senior Show will be sanctioned separately. All ADGA rules shall govern.
- Breeds will be shown in the following order: Alpine, LaMancha, Nubian, Oberhasli, AOP Toggenburg and Recorded Grades in both Senior and Junior Shows.
- Animals may leave after their breed has been judged, as long as you do not have a best of breed animal.
The Sandwich Fair Association, Inc. may not be held responsible for loss, damage or accident to any animal, person or property at this show.
- Proof of championship shall be the prefix CH or CGH as affixed by ADGA on the animal’s registration certificate.
- All animals shown in group or special classes must have been shown in breed classes.

Specialty Class Rules
- DAM & Daugher: Both must be in milk.
- PRODUCE OF DAM: Two milking does from the same dam.
- HERD: Four does, owned by same exhibitor, all must be in milk.
- SENIOR GET-OF-SIRE: Three does, all in milk same sire, sire must be named.
- JUNIOR GET-OF-SIRE: Three does, all dry, same sire, sire must be named.
