Div. 56-139 Prizes- Grade A, $12.00; Grade B, $8.00; Grade C, $6.00.
RULES: See Animal Health Rules and Regulations regarding TB and Bangs test. Animals may be purebred or grade.
Only dairy members owning animals, which they have cared for and handled prior to May 1, are eligible to exhibit. All purebred animals must be registered in member's name. Each member is limited to three animals and not more than one in any division.
Animals must be shown by owner. Senior yearlings in milk will show with 2 year old class. Please enter them as such.
Entries should give names and numbers of animals, breeds, dates of birth and correct mailing address and age of exhibitor.
Showing methods as well as conditioning and fitting of animals will count in all Fitting & Show Classes. This class will precede the type classes and will begin at 9 AM. Registration deadline September 15, 2007. The 4-H livestock entry form must be used. The 4-H Exhibitor Entry Statement agreement must also be signed by both parent and exhibitor on the registration form. Rules and regulations of the 4-H Livestock department will be followed.

56 Spring Heifer Calves—March 1, 2008 to April 30, 2008 57 Winter Heifer Calves—December 1, 2007 to February 28, 2008 58 Fall Heifer Calves—September 1, 2007 to November 30, 2007 59 Summer Yearling Heifer—June 1, 2007 to August 31, 2007 60 Spring Yearling Heifer—March 1, 2007 to May 31, 2007 61 Winter Yearling Heifer—December 1, 2006 to February 28, 2007 62 Fall Yearling Heifer—September 1, 2006 to November 30, 2006 not in milk; yearlings which have calved will be shown in Div. 63| 63 Junior Two Year old Heifer—Born after February 28, 2006, and before Sept. 1, 2006. 64 Senior Two-Year Old Heifer—Born after August 31 2005 and before March 1. 2006. 65 Three Year Old Cows—September 1, 2004 to August 31, 2005 66 Your Year Old Cows—Born before September 1, 2004. 67 Dry Cow—Any cow that has calved, but is not in milk, and not shown in any of the above classes. 68 Dam & Daughter - A cow and one daughter of any age over 3 months of age and must have received rabies vaccine at least thirty days prior to the fair. 69 Produce of Dam - Two females any age, the produce of one cow must be at least three months old and have received rabies vaccine a least thirty days prior to the fair. 70 Herd - 3 females any age of same breed owned by exhibitor—must be at least three months old and have received rabies vaccine at least thirty days prior to the fair. NOTE: All animals may compete in the open classes. These must be entered in advance with the chairman of that department.
